They should cancel 4th fireworks EVERY year... because the backlash was amazing...
Holy.. fvcking shiit... here in CA where fireworks are illegal in most areas... was a sky lit warzone that can only be compared to Baghdad on invasion day that lasted hours  (still going).
If you lived near a military base, then I'm sure you got some well timed evening howitzer fire drills, phosphorus sky illumination and the like. That and the welcome and insane level of preparedness the average American has in the fireworks dept with mortars, M100's and whatever else I'm sure most of you witnessed. It was like a preview of the coming election... Hope no one lost any fingers or got a bottle rocket to the nuts boys... cuz.. MERICA FVCK YEAH ! http://bestanimations.com/Flags/USA/...flag-gif-3.gif |
I hope there are no fires...

It’s insane here at my place! It shames the Queen Mary and Disneyland.
|
Shlt's going down in my neighborhood! Lived here for 5yrs'ish and never seen it like this.
|
We had some m80 action in the neighborhood.
And I had a bbq.... With PEOPLE  |
They are still going off like gangbusters here :usa: I haven't bothered with the fireworks show at the mall for years, I just go to a park on a hill overlooking Canyon Country and get a show every night... from May through August :word:
|
I thought I was the only one. I blew my whole stash that I had from the late 90s. Bottle rockets, mortars, m90s, some home rolled death sticks that I smuggled from Mexico, etc. Neighbors probably hate me. I'm actually surprised the police weren't called :biglaugh:
|
Plus in CA... virtually every type of event was "banned"
INCLUDING a STRONG RECOMMENDATION !!!!! that you DO NOT CELEBRATE WITH OTHER PEOPLE... only "those people that live with you" taken right from the liberal mouth in power that spoke it. funny take on the shiit.... edit: and oh yeah Newport Beach peninsula flooded yesterday... I guess if they ban you from the beach.. the beach just comes to you  |

They're legal here, but I don't remember seeing such a massive turnout as far as fireworks go. It looked and sounded like a war-zone. Awesome. :usa:
|
Covid cases WAY UP due to all the 4th of july parties.
// on the morning of JULY 4th.. what?? |
It sounded like a war zone here too. It lasted from right after dark until around 1am.

Our neighborhood puts on a fireworks show every year. We collect money form everyone and they go make one big cash purchase. One of the guys here builds his own boxes to hold mortar tubes. They went for a solid half hour of non stop fireworks. When it was done so one asked if we had a permit for our show. :biglaugh:

The personal displays on the beach in Wildwood lasted 3 hours and was great. People brought chairs and coolers to beach and sat for hours viewing them. :biglaugh:
People lighting off 4" motors all over the place, the beach cops didn't have a chance and gave up. Now, the beach in Wildwood is 1/2 mile wide so there was very little risk from fire and plenty of room. #'Murica:cool: |
10/10 amateur fireworks for sure
Started around 9pm and lasted until about midnight. |
They still had the city fireworks show here over the lake. :smokin:
|
The mayor of LA said no fireworks, and threatened a $50,000 fine for anyone who dare to not obey him.
This was LA on the 4th. :biglaugh: |
