wow I feel like a retard this morning, I gotta quit with this test... I can't even get this :(

tried 100/5 = .05 then 100/3 = .03 then did .05 and .03 x 720ml to get the amount and it is not right

5+3+12=20 720/20=36ml per part 36*12=432ml

He was way off. I mean 432ml out of 720ml should of been a dead give away that wasnt even close to being right, when they just want the difference of the 2 small parts and you have that much greater 12x in there as well.

i dont think thats right, they dont add up to 720ml. my logic is flawed because the parts arent whole numbers they are/should be fractions. so the parts need to be converted to fractions and all of the parts need to add to 1. in the end the answer plus the parts of the other 2 colors should add up to 720ml.

It's right. 108+180+432=720. the question was asking for the DIFFERENCE between the red and yellow, so 180-108=72

Thats why I hate shiat like that. The math itself is usually no big deal, but those questions are more reading comprehension then math, making it BS to use in a math class. :biglaugh:
