My "NEW" SVO just arrived! *Pics - VID*
 

Well after my official unofficial search over the last few years I finally found exactly what I was looking for. An 86 solid roof 9L (white) with cloth. She arrived last night in the dark from Texas so I had to wait 'til today to really check her out...
She's got 77k miles and is in AWESOME condition. ZERO rust all original paint and interior. Dash pad and arm rest are perfect as is the hatch cover.

Everything works and it runs real strong I love it!

And now on to the pics! Thanks to my awesome fiance Gina for the AWESOME pics and the vid of me rolling her off the truck! It felt good for sure. You can here William (truck driver) rip on my girl! haha. He was super cool though...

TECH - Under WOT it feels like it's missing...but it's not I'm just seeing boost spikes between 12psi and 16psi. Seems to get better once warmed up real good but Is there something else I should be looking for? Don't get me wrong it runs awesome but the spikes are annoying...16psi all the time is what I need! lol

Problem with this damn car is that I'm always boostin! At least with the juice in the Capri I'm able to control myself. lol

pickup some pb trim restorer for the black molding. stuff is the sh1t

you needed a boosted car... now you will see why they are so much fun. next thing you know your old man will have a Si-trim on the hatch :biglaugh:

He wants to do a turbo at some point so yea he'll be boosted eventually.

Trim is in decent shape...needs a few things but dude its clean. Can't wait to get the spiked boost issue fixed...car will really roll then.

Yea dude in my SVO it was pushin 21 lbs :biglaugh: Ranger cam and a few other goodies. I loved it, be ready to work on it though haha.

since it comes with the pump/reg i was thinking id pay a little extra for it being a nice clean kit but fvck man they charge way too much.

so 340, maybe an extra 100 bucks for the design of the tank is a little more work than welding a square together..

so they are basically making 50% of the price in profit, plus whatever profit they make on all the parts over retail price.

Also doesn't include the pump or regulator...it's made for alky or meth...

the washer fluid container is the same up to like 04. its a stainless tank you can use it for whatever you want.

Got the Gillis installed. Boost is super smooth now but I can't go above 16 or so it starts to nose over in 3rd gear...no pop or ping or anything just noses over. Guess I'll tune it up and try again...

Should be able to take a couple more psi as is. Have to check tune-up parts. But yea if that's ok maybe the pump is shot - unlike a stock 5.0, they also say these cars respond really well to fp changes so at some point I guess an adjustable FPR is in order too...

At least boost is super smooth and consistent now - before it was spiking between 12-16 ish and it was annoying to drive...

Well I talked to Andrew (used to work at LaRocca's) and he now "freelances" at few different places in the Delaware Valley - just have to find a place relatively close by and book everything.

the only guy out of that shop that you should be talking to is jimmy c :p

Andrew tuned my sh!t the last time...cool dude knows his stuff! Jimmy C showed up towards the end - didn't do anything lol

haha thats what happened when i got my car tuned, there are 2 guys that work at the shop that did my tuning, the guy i talk to all the time showed up for the final pull when it made all the power and was like :eek:
