HID's in a fox?

Cream puff don't you have some in yours? Anyone want to post some pics and where you got them?

DDM tuning looks like they have the best prices.

i have a set of no names in the fox.. and 2 sets in the fusion (fogs too).. the ones in the fusion are from ddm tuning.

beware without a proper projector housing in the fox its going to scatter light all the fvck over.. i honestly would probably take them out if it werent for the stupid rake my car sits at.. they end up being not much brighter far out than normal headlights.. you'll be blinding fools.

a factory HID cutoff in a factory HID projector should look like this..

youll note the drivers side is MUCH lower than the pass side, to not blind oncoming traffic, and there is next to no light bleeding above the cutoff line (this prevents drivers in the oncoming lanes and ahead of you from being blinded for no good reason)

a hallogen projector with retrofit HID's isnt perfect, but its at least not dangerous, just doesnt look as 'crisp'.. like this.. my fusion in this pic.. there is a little bleed above the cutoff due to the projectors in the fusion being designed for a hallogen light pattern.. but its managable (not super bright and blinding to oncoming traffic) and the bright part below the cutoff drops on the drivers side just like it should.

and regular headlamps with hid's do this.. and is VERY dangerous and illegal, unless you adjust the shiat out of the lights to point them down, but at that point they are no better than normal headlights (probably worse)

like i said the ONLY reason i have them in the fox (without projectors) is because the rake is soo bad it was unsafe to drive at night with the hallogens.

American Muscle used to have them for like $400. But this was about 2 years ago when I looked at them. Not sure if they still carry them.
