I drive a lot for work,
always at the speed limit, always signal my turns, haven't been cited for anything in something like 10 years. I ALWAYS give semis a wide birth...
On the highway today, middle lane, minimal traffic doing the posted 65mph... I hear a J-brake and a semi is
easily doing 90 in the right hand lane, almost blows me out of my lane, then he cuts everyone in front me of off. Gigantic semi hauling multiple steel electrical type units/buildings out of Georgia. He keeps getting caught up by slow traffic ahead of him, I pass in the left... Mind you I'm in no way shape or form instigating anything with this truck. He keeps blowing by people using the slow lane (illegal) few times he busted out into the left lane to pass (illegal for semis). I don't even know how this thing was as fast as it was,
he was easily weaving in and out of traffic doing 90
So I'm getting ready to take my exit (two lane exit I'm in the right lane) He busts out from the middle lane of the highway cutting people off and goes into the left lane of the exit ramp. From there he blows by me, cuts me off, then slams his brakes hard I'm like
so I attempt to get into the left lane simply to not be behind the guy... Completely taken by surprise I'm on the brakes again because he's swerving
/trying to run me off the road/keep me from passing... I just slow down and stay behind him.
Now we're out of the exit and heading up to a 6 booth toll, 3 of which are cash which is what I was doing (forgot fastlane at home) still not sure WTF the semi driver is thinking I go to a far left one,
he accelerates and tries to run me out of my lane and now on the horn hard. I go back right and he does it again, left he swerves again... We get right up to a booth and he's literally got me in the middle of two lanes I'm on his drivers side... We're both stopped.
His cab door swings open, fvcking biggest redneck I've ever seen 50-60y/o about 5' tall.
"Take the bus next time fvcker, you can't drive 4 shyt mother fvcker." I'm like
Just basically laughed at him while giving him the bird... While he was busy telling me to take the bus I was able to squeeze infront of him into the toll booth.. He was right on my azz doing something with air brakes trying to intimidate me...
Gave him the bird again as I left the booth, he must have gone a different way after that because I didn't see him again
