Holy.. fvcking shiit... here in CA where fireworks are illegal in most areas... was a sky lit warzone that can only be compared to Baghdad on invasion day that lasted hours
(still going).
If you lived near a military base, then I'm sure you got some well timed evening howitzer fire drills, phosphorus sky illumination and the like.
That and the welcome and insane level of preparedness the average American has in the fireworks dept with mortars, M100's and whatever else I'm sure most of you witnessed.
It was like a preview of the coming election...
