28 inch slick..

just to let you guys know, I ended up with the same trap speed with 28 inch compared to the 26 inch m/t streets, and cut a 1.9 to the 2.0 streets... so, thought I would throw that out there, nothing really changed..

I go 1.68s on a 275/60 et street radial and I am really not too satisfied with that. Honestly just get some seat time without changing things and you will be better off.

need more seat time

edit: I don't see where it says what gears you have? unless you have 4.10's or 4.30s a 28 is probably too tall for your power

with that kind of power, you should be a 26 inch tire, and a 4.10 or 4.30 gear for a proper trap rpm.

(roughly im not braking out the calculator, but you get the idea)

the B cam represents the pinnicle in camshaft engineering. It is the finest cam ever designed for any engine of any era be it past, present or future. Every other cam studies and marvels at its flawless profiles. So perfect, it has been said it was given to us by aliens. And that it actually powered the mothership that brought them here. Often imitated but never duplicated, the allmighty B cam sits upon its majestic throne as every other lower cam bows at it's feet... er, lobes. Praise be to B cam.

For his current power level and trap he should really have a 3.73 and a 26" tire or a 4.10 and a 28".

I agree with you guys, Im just working with what I have now.. But alot of people were saying it would affect the time and speed, now I didnt launch it out of the whole hard either, like 3800 to 4500.. Im going to Ennis on the 14th, we will see again what happens.. Ill start back working on the car in a couple of months, adding gears, and boost..
