how are the parts?

autozone wants 208 for tie rod replacements and i can get them at rockauto for like 50 bucks

one of the brands is raybestos which I think i've heard of.

raybestos is usually a house brand for, i think, o' reillys auto parts. if not house brand, it's one of the cheaper brands. but same-as-stock

I used them but bought standard parts. I had no problems

You can usually find a 5% coupon code online really easy too.

I have used them for replacement parts. Their search engine on the site is great....fair prices, fast shipping.

Overall I liked the shopping experience.

Ditto about the 5% off coupons

the parts I received were in great condition and the shipping was fast, no complaints at all with them and their phone support was great. The only thing was the replacement grille I ordered attachment clips weren't quite long enough at the bottom but I can't fault rockauto

thanks guys for the feedback.

83 shipped vs. 208 shipped at autozone. advanced was way more.

drivers outer tie rod end blew on me a couple weeks ago while I was turning into a place.. Good thing I got her to the driveway and my friend was on his way.. after running around for 2 hours finding the part (advanced - 40.00 ) we got her on. it was about 10 at night when we finished sucked.

i have used them several times, although i have noticed a few of the local auto parts stores are starting to drop prices or will come close to matching what rock auto is selling their parts for.

had to get an axle for my daily driver, cheapest on rock auto was $50 plus shipping (part weighs about 25 lbs. called a local parts store, they knocked their price down to $55 and its a brand new part, not reman

anything related to auto repair, not performance shops, will almost always come down in price if you have evidence of something cheaper.
whether it be tire shops, parts stores, repair shops, etc.

FedEx just dropped off some stuff that I ordered from them. Oreilly's wanted $68 for the same parts that I got from them for $40 shipping included.
