FYI, for socal residents. The best deal to get is the 2-day park hopper pass. Use 1 day, and sell the 2nd day. You end up paying no more than $50. That's $25/park, not too shabby. This is only good when the 2fer comes out since they discout 2-day hopper as well. Jan-April.

edit: Disneyland FTW.

I would be there everyday if I could. I have considered trying to get a job there, but I would worry that I wouldn't enjoy it anymore on my free time.

I know, srsly.. I don't get it. My sister's fiance likes going there like 4 or 5 times a year. I could only see myself going to the parks like once, and going on a drinking binge in Downtown Disney the remainder of the time..

I cannot comprehend how someone could like something that I do not like, it boggles the mind.

If I lived close enough I'd get a season pass. I have one to Universal. It's fun to just drop in for an hour or two at a time.

True, but CA > FL, so there goes that theory.

This is my 3rd year for having season passes at Disney in FL. My sister and brother in law live in Orlando so I go there about once every 4-6 weeks with my 8 year old adopted little sister. Such a blast.

When compared to the discounted 2-day park hopper prices for SoCal residents, we actually only need to go once every other month to break even.

But to answer your question, we only live ~10 minutes away from Disneyland. So we actually do go pretty often. Even if it's just for a couple hours. Free to get in, free to park. So we'll go if we have nothing to do, if the wife is having a bad day and needs something to cheer her up, or if friends/relatives plan a trip and we decide to join them.

And $35/mo isn't a big deal. It's like going out to dinner at a moderately priced restaurant.

We go into Disneyland for only an hour or two all the time. And it's great on days when the park isn't busy. We're able to go on rides like Space Mountain and Indiana Jones without having to bother with long lines or fast passes.

Damn that sounds badass. Wish I could pop in for a few hours every now and then

My brother, sister in law, and niece did that last weekend.

I am tempted to sign up and do it so I can sell the ticket for $$.

I considered working part-time for the perks. A friend works valet on Saturdays for Disneyland Hotel. I considered doing the same, but I figured I'd rather pay the $35/mo for the two passes than to give up my Saturdays. Sure, I can't get other people in free, but I'm over it.
