MAC exhaust
Anyone know much about MAC exhaust. I just put a bbk o/r x pipe on last week and don't like it very much. The only h pipe I can find is from MAC - $169.
Should I get the durablack?? Dude said it lasts longer. But then again he is just the phone operator cause he sucks at sales. Help me quick. I want this thing to sound good. |

I have a Mac Prochamber and Flowpath catback. I beleive that both are GOOD quality products. You can purchase better however you are going to pay for it. For all around Price vs quality I don't think you can find a better product!

I had MAC prochamber and cat-back on my '89 GT. Good quality stuff for the price.
Get the durablack coating. My Prochamber and catback were getting rusty looking after only 6 months.

I ran the flowpath's on my old car. They rusted through but tht was before durablack coating
But the sound plus they're one of the best flowing chambered mufflers on the market. (dunno where the article is that says so, but there is one, somewhere, saying something good )

I read that too. And I agree on the sound. I love it! I've had MAC flowpaths on 3 of my 4 Mustangs, if that tells you anything. They sound great on V6s too, as long as you don't have dumps/turndowns.

I've got MAC exhaust, with the prochamber and their mufflers. I've got the stuff before the coating and I haven't hand any issues.
IMO, it sounds good too. ![]()
