Conservatives Want Porn Axed From Hotels
 POSTED: 8:43 am PDT August 23, 2006 NEW YORK -- There's that button on a lot of hotel TVs that you can use to buy the kind of movies you won't see in most theaters. But outraged conservative groups are hoping to wipe the screen clean. Thirteen groups are banding together to form a coalition aimed at getting rid of X-rated movies on hotel pay-per-view. They're calling on the federal government to investigate whether the films violate obscenity laws. Opponents argue pornography shouldn't be on hotel TVs because they're family places. But the hotel industry sees it differently. A Marriott spokesman called the movies "a revenue stream" and said it's purely "a business matter." Both he and a Hilton spokeswoman point out that guests can ignore or block out the movies. |

God gave us free will to follow him, or not. He figured that people choosing to follow him was better than people following him because he makes us. And everyone needs to respect everyone elses decision (to an extent) I think.
