It's not lazy like the LS1 or even the LS6. It revs quickly and that blower wine gives me wood everytime.

To be honest the Cobra doesn't have much else going for it (stock). The shifter is set in concrete, the interior is flimsy, the clutch is way too heavy and the steering has more slop then an F150 or Tahoe. But it's got that power which kinda makes you forget how sh1tty of a car is....really quick.

IMO, buy the Vette and make friends with someone that has an 03 Cobra so you can drive his.

The part of the post I bolded prompted me to make some vids of my car revving. Mind you it has an aluminum flywheel.

Z06 Rev Tach

Z06 Rev Rear

And yeah, I know one side of the Borla is a little bit lower than the other. Other than cutting the bracket and welding it, there was nothing else that could be done.

You have one of the highest rwhp exhaust/intake Zo6's that I have seen and a trap speed that indicates 350 ish. What gives?

Its hard launching on the Toyo's, especially with the Spec 2 clutch. Its so aggressive with its grab that its hard to slip. I have about

I--------------------I

much pedal from no grab to full grab. I'ts hard not to spin or bog. That time is on a 60' of 1.98.

As for the trap speeds, those runs were done here in South Ga (Silver Dollar Raceway) in the middle of the summer. Hot muggy air.

where are you located at? Altitude plays a factor. We see bolted on 99+Gts run high 14s in the low mid 90s for example.

I said south GA earlier, but its actually middle GA. Those runs were done at Silver Dollar Raceway.

I've never really researched the altitude there. I know it was hot as a mofo when I did those runs though. I was monitoring my oil temp at 217. Not sure on the coolant.

I had another 02 before this one that trapped 117 with 372 rwhp. That run was in a February though.

lazy meaning it's not as eager to rev as other engines. It doesn't climb through the rev range like something lit it's ass on fire.

ie. - don't be so Z06 defensive all the time. "lazy" /= slow.

not being defensive....jsut wasnt' sure what lazy meant, considering it wants to be revved and has a very short 2nd gear

I'll see what I can do about getting some vids of it on the street, will have to be short bursts for the most part though =/

The roads are wet right now, but I'll see if I can get a "ride along" to hold the camera.

Mine is much louder than that... but thats with the long tubes and off-road X pipe I just on over the weekend.

I am also hoping for 400rwhp with a tune. I should be close now since it was tuned before the LTs.
