1993 cobra clone w/ or w/o 331 stroker!! SWEET PAINT!!!

Description: Original 1985 Mustang GT, with many modifications very fast, with little work will be a very nice car. One of a kind and totally customized in and out, a head turner to say the least. ENGINE: -New 331 stoker motor still on first tank of gas since build -Professionally assembled short block by X2C Motor sports -High volume oil pump -10.5 compression ratio forged pistons with reliefs for Twisted Wedge heads -Chromoly main bearing cap brace form X2C -E7TE heads, ported and port matched, machined deck, three angle valve job, triple coil springs good to .600” lift, 1.94” intake 1.60” exhaust valves, swirl polished and under cut stems, new brass valve guides. -FRPP aluminum roller rockers 1:1.6 ratio -Comp cams standard length pushrods -Trick Flow stage one cam, with .499” intake and .510” exhaust lift, 275 and 279 degrees of advertised duration. -New Ford roller lifters -Edelbrock Performer RPM Air Gap intake manifold -Holley 650 carb with vacuum secondaries, possibly original equipment. -Summit Racing high flow water pump -Fel Pro gaskets used through out entire engine -Stock ignition system, with Autolite plugs -K&N filter, polished valve covers, chrome air cleaner lid, polished power steering pump -MAC or Summit long tube headers, unknown primary size. -Off road H pipe, Flowmaster original 40 series, MAC chrome tail pipes, exhaust is dual 2.5” from headers back -New aluminum dual core radiator from summit, with high flow electric fan CHASSIS: -Hurst short throw shifter -Laurel Mountain Mustang platinum series lowering springs (front springs were cut to give a more aggressive stance, springs ride better than anything else I’ve rode, including stock springs) -Not installed, but included are new in box, subframe connectors, upper and lower non-adjustable rear control arms, all are UPR products. -Stock 8.8 inch rear end with 3.55 gears (yes it has an 8.8 and yes it is original) -Factory sunroof, does not leak -Dunlop FM 901 tires with less then 4000 miles (235/45/17zr front, 245/45/17zr rear) BODY: -Full 1993 Cobra body conversion, including OE ford bumper with grille opening, ABC Exclusive side skirts (no scoops on sides separates Cobra’s from GT’s), rear cobra spoiler, and rear bumper (needs repair or replacement due to a trailer hitch), original 1985 tail lights (same as Cobra save the gray pinstripe, which can be added easily), cobra quarter panel badges, SVT Cobra badge on hatch (as on 1999-up cobras) -Molding around the entire car has been smoothed so the grove cannot be seen -Rear quarter glass replaced with 87-93 style glass (no vents) -Door handles were smoothed and replace with Grand Prix handles -Fuel door transferred to circle from square style, and billit door installed -Five lug conversion with 17 inch chrome cobra R replica wheels -Paint is black on top, blue with fade to blue-ish purple on bottom, light blue pinstripe separating blue from black, purple marbalized graphic on rear quarter panels -Fiberglass Cobra R hood with SVO scoop, manufacturer unknown -Brand new crystal clear headlights, turn signal, side markers, and fog lights (looks amazing with this color combo) NEEDS WORK: -Clutch needs to be replaced (wanted to buy disc, clutch and fly wheel together, but no money ![]() -Rear bumper (see picture) needs repair, or replacement -Passenger door has 2 inch scratch (not sure, but could possibly be buffed out) -One side skirt needs to be re-attached to body on one end -Headliner is missing -Passenger rear wheel has been curbed -No radio, is wired for six channel (power, ground remote, speaker, and 3 pairs RCA wires run through out car) custom system (rockford fosgate door speakers and tweeters included, factory rear speakers) -Air conditioner has been removed but the brackets and working pump are included in auction Ok here is the story on the car. Its an '85 GT, with complete (not a spoiler and a emblem like most others) exterior conversion to 1993 cobra. The title is salvage due to an accident that occurred before i bought the car and before it was painted. Unfortunately the chassis, being listed as a 1985 valued at $1250, and therefore it was totaled. car drives straight, there is a little misalignment of the hood on one side, hardly noticeable, and could probably be adjusted my someone who knew what they were doing. This is not a "project car", it was my daily driver for a while, and it just needs a few finishing touches since putting the new motor in. This motor is strong, and built to last forever, has not been raced, or hot rodded, its power is smooth and very streetable. I estimate about 300 wheel hp with this combo (the heads will outflow GT40 heads), and all parts are matched to work together more effectively, this is the key to having a smooth powerband and durability. Also car has the original interior in wonderful condition, grey with red piping, all gauges work, and no holes in dash, and the highly envied halo headrest seats. Buyer is responsible for all shipping / pickup arrangements and payment. Deposit of $500 due 5 business days after end of auction, full payment due after 10 business days. Ok, let me clarify. The pictures here are less than a week old and the car has been driven every day this week with no problems at all. Car was wrecked and completely repaired before I bought it, but due to the low ($1200) value of '85 mustangs it was totaled even though damage was not severe. And the valve cover and air cleaner were removed for the picture to show the rocker arms. starts the first time every time, and runs great, and has my neighbors ready to kill me. I have some new pictures that show the paint even better that ebay will not let me post, however if you message me with your direct email address i can send you the new pics. I will consider offers. If anyone would like the car without the motor, I will sell to the best offer, and pull the motor myself.
