Thumbs up Weight Loss FTW! No Beer + No Choogar = :glenn:

Damn, I'm pumped... Me and my girlfriend have been on a weight loss binge for the past month now

I hit 200 on the scale and realized something had to be done quickly... so we both motivated eachother and started working out about 5 days per week and eating GOOD food. Running 3 times per week and doing cardio, and Tuesdays and Thursdays lifting light weights to tone up...

Been grilling outside almost every single day the past month, lots of chicken breasts, eating lots of veggies, and drinking NOTHING but water. Every time i get hungry, i get another glass of water or eat a rice cake.

----------------

(for those interested)
Breakfast: Oatmeal (Quaker Oatmeal Weight Control - 160 Calories and it FILLS you up good)

Lunch: Turkey sandwich on Wheat, 1 serving of Baked Lays

Snack: Rice Cake (50 Calories)

Dinner: Chicken Breast, Veggies/Salad, Wild Rice (sometimes Sugar-Free Jello Gelatin Snack for 10 Calories)

------------------

But the biggest is I havent had a beer in about a month, drank maybe 1 can of pop, and have had some M&M's once... No Sugar and No Beer have drastically improved my LIFE

Just weighed myself last night, and i'm down to 192

Lost 8 pounds total this month, its an awesome feeling and I had to tell MW

I'm looking to get down to about 180 and stay there for a long time, I don't need a "six pack" or anything, it will just be nice to be able to sit down and not feel my gut stick out

that is all...

[cliffs] Lost 8 pounds this month by eating healthy and working out, and cutting out Beer and Sugars[/cliffs]

I don't understand why people are still surprised that they lose weight when they stop eating a bunch of bullsh1t

kick ass man congrats!

I gotta loose weight myself, but its so hard to do here at college......esp the no beer thing. I am workin out 3x a week doing lifting AND cardio........but its hard to really watch my diet here. Hopefully when I graduate I can get myself on some plan.

I'm at about 4 and I rarely find myself hungry anymore, and the stuff I snack on is usually just Rice Cakes... these things aren't too bad if you get the right flavors

yea, College is kinda hard to eat healthy, just gotta try and stay active...thats what I did and could still eat crap food. But once you start getting out of the College years, metabolism farts out and anything makes you gain weight Dieting is key, Gonna keep this hardcore dieting up until summer and see where I'm at. Hopefully by then I can have a day of junk food per week
