Thumbs up One of the best pics I've taken yet...lightning storm

Shrunk down for internet friendly viewing, 8.0mp original, and the quality was degraded so it would fit on MM. I know its not the best or whatever, but I think it came out pretty rockin', especially for a non-SLR digicam, with some "semi-manual" settings. What do y'all think? Taken from the roof of a friend of mine's house in the Dominion.

edit: requested high-res image later in the thread...

Texas broly, and it was the first and hopefully last time I ever see lightning like that again. The day was clear and beautiful, then they said storm watch around 5pm, and that pic was taken at 7pm...yeah, out of nowhere crazy weather. Everyone was advised to stay put if you don't need to be driving, and stay indoors...so naturally I climbed on the roof of this 3 story mansion.

It's the creme de la creme of point and shoots...from Olympus SP series. Roughly $499 or so. Not bad. I want a badass camera for things like this, but the clicker is just for climbing, rafting, etc...situations you wouldn't want to take a $1500+ cam into. Plus, I usually keep it with me or close.
