So awesome.

Sportbike Track Time really runs a great track day. I was signed up for the novice group as its my first day, and it was really good. For the novice group they run a school which was nice. The day starts out with advanced and intermediate while the novices sit in a class. The first class session just covered basics of the track, and then we went out in groups of 6 and the instructor showed us the line for a few laps.

After that, we went back into class and they explained why we should be smooth, and we went out for a session in groups of 6 again and went through the track in one gear without brakes.

Finally, another classroom session explained conrner entry, what to do in the corner, and then exit. A lot of basics that if you didnt know already would be vital to know on the track.

for the session we set up in turn 9, went down the straight and did a braking drill...think MSF on crack. Ring it through 3rd then brake to a stop, then you have the track to yourself and you run a lap, and the next rider goes.

in the last classroom session they brought a bike in and taught proper body positioning. The instructor had me come up and i was his gunea pig (pictured)...I learned a lot from this classroom session, I went out and applied it on the track and felt really smooth and comfortable, next thing I knew I was dragging my knee pucks all over the place and doing a lot of passing.

After that is all covered we went out for 2 more sessions.

All in all it was the most fun Ive ever had on a motorcycle, and for your first track experience if you're a comfortable street rider I think this is the perfect compromise between a full on school and a full on track day. Theres no additional fee for the classroom sessions and the instructors really were helpful.

Without further adue, heres a few pictures my dad got of me. He got videos as well but I'm struggling to find a host.

haha alright...dug these up

hahaha..maybe. Probably because when you're braking from 165mph and saying "oh god oh god oh god oh god"...you get some favor.

lol...theres a saying

"I was seeing Jesus so often that I started using him as a braking marker."
