Are you happy?

You know how you get some folks that are always happy, regardless of their current situation (poor, rich, sick, healthy, fat, skinny, single, married, divorced, good job, bad job, etc.)? They are always positive, in good spirits, rarely ever down and out, and always in a great mood with an excellent personality. You know, the friend/relative you always like to be around because nothing lets him/her get them down? They don't take life too serious and it seems like they're always having the best time of their lives.

or,

Are you the person who has their happy moments but aren't always happy? More often than not, you are worried, concerned, nervous and/or always thinking ahead to what you'll be doing later, tomorrow, the day after, next week, next month, next year. You are always pressed for time (even though you really aren't) and feel like there isn't enough time in the day to do everything you need to get done. You worry and concern yourself with the smallest bump in the road and oftentimes find yourself locked in deep thought about your life and everything that's going on.

My wife, sister-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sisters, and my father fall in the first category.

My mother, mother-in-law, and I fall into the latter.

What about you?

I have my happy moments but I do worry about the future. Mostly the people that are always happy are the dumb ones.

I am somewhere in the middle, but edging towards #1. I am mostly happy, but I have my dark days too.

I'm happy while still worrying about the future.

I don't show it though. and I get bitchy when I'm tired.

Usually unhappy, worried, anxious, etc.
I think I'm bipolar or something, because I'm up and down a lot.

"Do you know what people are, mostly? Bastards. Bastard-coated bastards with bastard filling; but I don't find them half as annoying as I find naïve, bubble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine." - Dr. Cox

I agree with the above statement. I dont understand happy people. They frighten me.

Those people are too stupid to worry about the future.

They don't frighten me. I wish I could be like the first type of people...oftentimes being around them is what makes me happy...it rubs off a little.

I feel that way about happy people I don't know...happy strangers. Random happy people you see and hear walking around your place of work, the mall, etc.
