Now that I look at it, that's the same idea as the airbags that wreckers when tractor/trailers have flipped over.

They're waaayyy to big for what you want to do. (They can flip over a 53' trailer.)

Why don't you just do a google search for marine fenders or boat fenders?

Also - Don't you live near any marinas?

You know you're going to pay about $300 for a fender that big, right? It would be more cost effective and safer to use a high pressure airbag like the ones we use on the firetruck. We use an SCBA tank to inflate them, but I'm sure you could use a compressor.
