fvcking car broke again

i'm seriously getting tired of this fvcking thing.
So i'm driving to work, doing about 60mph or so on a back road (50 speed limit), as i'm approaching a stop sign for a major intersection i apply the brakes, to my surprise the pedal goes right to the floor and i see a huge cloud of smoke pour from under the hood.
I still had a little room so i just start dropping gears, as soon as i got slow enough ripped up on the ebrake and dropped it into first gear. I'd say if it took me another 2 feet to stop i would have been Tboned by a dump truck.
I was about a mile from my job, so i just put my hazzards on and drove to work (downshifting and using ebrake to stop, never going over 20mph). From what it looks like, the line going from the master cyinder to the line lock is leacking at the fitting to the linelock, gonna have to look into it a bit more, but i'm pretty sure thats what it is.
Just pisses me the fvck off, first i have a tie rod break off, then the clutch cable, and now this.
I'm seriously contemplating parting the car out, putting it back to stock, and the money i get for it, with the 4 grand that i just sold my bike for, and gonna put it down on a black on black 05 Caddy CTS-V we have on the show room

cliff notes: lost brakes, almost got tboned by dump truck

sounds like you bought some jenky linelock kit with craptastic fittings and lines. either that or you didnt install them right, bent then, etc etc...

its just a lil brake bleed job... no big deal.

That sucks man. At least now you know what parts to inspect every once in awhile. I know I inspect certain parts on my car all the time and I'm not that heavily modded. It's just something you gotta do for safety.

Thats why i got rid of my 93 GT. Man the same type of sh1t kept happening all the time and it got to the point where i was tired of fixing mundane crap. I feel your pain totally though. Although... on the flip side, every time something like this happens you figure better ways to fix it and keep it from happening again.

Sorry to hear about your troubles man. I know how you feel. Seems like everytime I drive my stang I find something else that's about to go out. First it was my rear end, then my clutch, then the synchros in the tranny started to feel worse (gets worse everyday), now today I start the car, and it popped and farted then died, then started right up again. Same sh!t different day. I've just been buying aftermarket upgrades as time goes on and I'm just waiting for something to finally give out so I can put everything in.

I wish it was only little things that break on my car. You should always time to time check your fluids anyway. Good you got it stopped in time.
