Angry floor pan tear near drivers seat outside rear bolt, best fix?

I have found that the reason my drivers seat has such a nasty lean to it is because the floor pan is tearing around the rear outside bolt hole. Since my plan is to use this car as a donor for a FF Daytona coupe in the future, I dislike spending any money on parts for it I can't transfer to the kit when I start that.

That being the case, I am wondering what the best fix will be:
1)patch that spot in the floor (not sure this will correct the lean, just stop any increase, but would be least $)
2) SFC with seat brace (my preferred choice if #1 won't work)
3) new drivers floor pan
4) both.

What are the board's thoughts?

just get a pair of SFC's with the seat brace if you're worried about it. otherwise i think welding the tear together along with a patch over it to strentghen the area would be good...

They all do it. SFC is the best fix.
But If it's just a temp thing, grab a piece of 18 or 16 gauge sheet metal, drill a hole in it for the seat bolt, form it a bit and add a few pop rivets.

I was leaning for the SFC. It will give more time with the welder, and appeared to me to be the stongest fix in this situation. If I was planning to start a kit this fall, I'd just patch it, or let it sit, but this will be a long build up till the kit is actually bought, and I will need either different house with more garage, or a shop away from home. The garage I have would do it, but besides not having $15k I would spend on a kit right now (but if I did, I'm sure I'd get rid of the wife... ), I'd lose the garage to any other use besides building the car until it was done, and I'd rather not have to move a half-built car if I move to a new company in a year.

Basically, I don't have the money to build now, but even if I did, I am not in a good position to start anyway. /MW-non-balla
