Its a small world (funny story from last night)...
So I am down here in good ole Tampa for a mini vacation. I live in a small town of 2500 in central illinois. Well last night my friend and I go out to get some beer and unfortunately I get labeled as a "tourist" as soon as I show my Illinois ID. Well when I showed my Id last night the guy goes "Illinois, oh I know where that is"... I think to myself something like "No sh!t sherlock" but then he starts to name towns and a small community college that I go to and he went to as well.
 Nothing big to you guys but just funny to run into someone 1200 miles away that knows where you are from...

ran into a security gaurd when i was in scottsdale (arizona) who had an NYPD tie clip. talked to him, turns out he worked for 20 years at the police station about 2 blocks from my place in NY. pretty cool i guess

Or seeing people you used to work with, or people you dont know who somehow know who you are and/or people you work with or used to at all kinds of random spots in the world. Especially the later. Kinda wierd coming across people you dont know who somehow know who you are and other people you know.
