One of our planes got mortar.T
 I kinda wish I was on that mission, I think it would probably be pretty cool to experience as long as no one got hurt and stuff. Anyways, happened at Balad in Iraq about a week ago I guess. Today is the first day I worked here at home in ages. Happened to notice one of our planes in a hangar with the whole rudder completely removed and was like wtf happened to it to necessitate taking the whole damn thing off. Then I heard about the mortar attack and that it was busted up some with shrapnel and all still in it, as well as various other dents and broken shiat on the plane from getting hit. Maybe I'm kinda fugged up, but I think it woulda been cool to be there.

haha, yeah, I was on Anaconda when that happened
 That's the 2nd time in my deployment that a C-17's been hit.

It didnt blow the plane apart? just took out the rudder and dented it? Nice.
