Wedding Invitations.........What to do about postage???

So, my fiance is going nuts because she went to the Post Office today and they are out of wedding stamps. Well, they will not have wedding stamps until the end of June and the RSVP on the invites is July 15th.
Any newly weds have problems with this?

Slap her and tell her to use regular stamps.

Or go to another post office.

Or use UPS/FEDEX/DHL if she really hates normal stamps.

Call off the wedding. If she goes that crazy over stamps, it will only get worse later.

haha we just went through this. my fiancee wanted the wedding stamps too. i was like, "it's a damn stamp, who's going to notice?" her reasoning was if everything is perfect, no one will notice, but if something is off, then people will. makes sense i suppose, but i digress...

so we went to the post office and they had to weigh the envelope. came to .58 per invite and our only option was the Liberty Bell stamp + a Ram on a mountain. i thought it was hilarious. gotta do what ya gotta do. getting your invites out on time > waiting for some stupid stamp.

I used to do wedding videos, and I have yet been to a wedding that went as planned. So if she's expecting everything to be perfect, then well... Good luck with that

no one expects everything to be perfect but you can do what you can to try to make things as perfect as possible. if the stamps are the only thing that goes wrong, then we'll be doing fine.

The more "perfect" you try to make things the more dissapointed you will be.

this wedding crap is way out of control.

The way they are marketing the shvit out of weddings will make what they did to christmas look like sweet FA.

People, they are stealing your money and selling you sh1t you don't need. You will not remember your wedding, waste your time & money on something usefull instead.

Well, it needs to be a $0.58 stamp.
So we would need to put 3 stamps on each invitation.
