Ever sang w/ a live band before? I did for the first time last night... :nervous:

At a biker bar

My friend is the lead singer of a local country act and they played last night at a total white trash/redneck/biker bar.

They made me get up and do Dierks Bentley's "Lot of Leavin' Left to do".

I've never sang with a real five-piece band before. I was scared shitless I was gonna mess up and forget the lyrics and then have 100 fat white trash dudes make fun of me But I didn't forget, and old people were actually on the dance floor dancing to it. It was pretty cool and a lot of fun.

kthxbye.

Pics of said band (Not me singing):

Dis is me

Fine. The country station in my state is the most-listened to in the state.

That said, country music (from the past 30 years), sucks.

Yep, not big on covers though. But I have performed anything from soft(ish) rock to hard rock to numerous forms of metal.

I really dislike country but I was thinking about learning country and doing it for a karaoke song sometime since we do karaoke a lot here at my house during parties. But I don't see myself learning any country to actually perform with a band.
