We have a 9 year old female and an 8 month old male. We had to put our 17 year old male to sleep last year. (one of the saddest days of my life) Anyway if I can say one thing relative to this incident is that our 17 year old male when he was in his prime used to hump everything. He was neutered as a puppy so most of his sex drive should have been curtailed. However he would still routinely tear into bean bags (we'd find them around the house crumpled into a mountain shape because he'd be humping from the rear and pulling it in with his front legs He also used to ride the sh.it outta one of my closest friends anytime he came over. Bill was always scared of him for whatever reason so it seemed like Rocky used to target him. I'll never forget the one day Bill and I passed out in the living room when we were both in high school. I woke up to Bill just screaming because Rocky was riding the sh.it outta his leg and Bill was to scared to push him off. I was laughing so hard I couldn't move so Bill just waited it out. Anyway I can't say I'm surprised this occurred due to the sexual nature of some of the dogs. However the parents should be ashamed of themselves for even allowing such a thing to occur. I'd never leave the room with a young child wandering around dog or not. It's the parents fault, not the dogs. I'd also wager the dog was unaltered which likely made the situation worse.
