spinoff: any info on this watch?
I posted this on the other watch thread but got lost amongst all of those big dog watches.
 I've had a Victorinox swiss army watch since '99. I found it the other day and had it cleaned and put a new battery in it, but I havent been able to find anything on it, no pictures, no info, nothing. It came in a silver tin case and in it was the watch which has a green rotating dial around the glass with white numbers on it and the background is white with glow in the dark numbers and hands. the watch mechanism case has a stainless steel coating but some areas are showing yellowish where the coating has worn off. the band was a combination of leather and thinly braided nylon like material, it also came with a small Swiss Army knife which i have since lost. Anyone know hwere I can find some info? on the tin case is a sticker with barcode on it and some info, its layed out as follows: VICTORINOX COMBO SET MODEL: 39083 VICTORINOX WATCH 35079/ ORIGINAL SWISS ARMY KNIFE VINTAGE, RED __________________ |
