Hot Rod official review in here

Well, first off, considering that the movie opened last night, and I was at the most popular theatre in my area...and the showtime was 8pm, it was probably a bad sign that there were only 20-25 people watching.

With that said, if you're a fan of movies like Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, Dirty Work, or any Will Ferrell movie (with the exception of maybe Old School) you will like this movie. Very random, stupid humor, but if you go into it with full awareness of what you're in for, you will enjoy the movie. It's very short, too, like 80 minutes, so that works for it, as well.

DEFINITELY worth watching, but you can wait for it to hit DVD, as you probably won't gain anything by seeing it on the big screen for $10.

how so? Def. didn't suck...Was just stupid and funny If you go in expecting Pan's Labyrinth, you're not gonna enjoy it. If you go in expecting Billy Madison, you'll laugh a lot.

How important are rivalry games to Meyer? After his Gators unleashed Saturday's 45-15 Soak at Doak on the soggy, groggy Seminoles, Meyer was asked about being 11-1 in games against Florida's three biggest rivals — Florida State, Georgia and Tennessee. Meyer smiled slightly and corrected his inquisitor.

"We're 12-1," he said. "We count Miami, too."

I went tonite (7pm show), and there were 11 people in the theater we were at, including me and the wife..

As far as the movie... Wish I had watched something else. And I like pretty much all the movies you mentioned in the first post. But yeah, the whole movie is completely random. I laughed a little bit here and there.. Thank god it wasn't much longer though.

Definitely a rental. One you probably wont add to your collection, but if you have nothing else to do, i guess its worth a watch. (As long as somebody else is paing )

Same here, it had my wife laughing and that is VERY hard to do.

But yeah, there were maybe 10 people in the whole theater with us. So yeah, it was nice

It has funny moments and I knew it would be stupid funny but I hoped for more. I even stayed until the end of the credits for some bonus funny but it too was weak. I like Andy Samberg and I think he is funny on SNL but maybe he needed to wait for a better script. Anyway, Isla Fisher looked good. Rent fo sho.
