esandes has an unfair advantage Join Date: Jul 2002 Posts: 1,549	next door neighbor opened his door onto my car...left a dimple and scratch his 91 lexus es300 is custom painted an emerald green and the paint in the dent matches his car. the height of the dent is consistent with the height of his door. i also do a walk-around each day and this definately happened in the parkade, where he parks his crap car next to mine. so i called the cops and they took pictures and a statement. this could get dragged on into the courts or he could fess up and have this fixed through his insurance.

That blows when someone who lives right next to you, and has an obvious paint colour, does something like that and just "hopes" you won't notice.

I had a neighbour across the street with a white POS ding the fender of my old 01GT, which was black. Fvcker finally admitted it, but was still denying at first, even when I asked him to open his door, and you could see he was missing paint on its edge, right at the level of the ding on my car

the police are issuing him a hit and run ticket. they said that the paint matches. his is the only car next to mine in the parkade. it's assigned parking. i only got the dent in the parkade.

sounds like if this goes to the judge it will be open and shut in 1 minute.
