LUCIE, Fla. -- A Port St. Lucie man is accused of giving his 11-year-old son an MP3 player that had a pornographic video on it, reported WPBF-TV in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. Authorities arrested Walter Walsh earlier this week in connection with an incident that occurred last school year. He faces a felony charge of showing an obscenity to a minor. Walsh told investigators that he found the MP3 player in a vehicle that was traded in at the car dealership where he works. He said he initially hid the player from the boy because there was something on it he didn't want his son to see, but the boy kept finding the device. Walsh said he ended up giving his son the gadget and did not think he would be able to access the video. But his son did. The fifth-grader said his classmates at Morningside Elementary School in Port St. Lucie learned what was on the MP3 player and threatened to tell on him if he didn't show them the video. So he let them see it, authorities said. According to a police report, the boy showed the video to at least three other boys in his class, who individually went into the bathroom to view the clip. The principal took the gadget away from the boy after finding him with it during a physical education class. The boy was suspended from school for 10 days and is under review for expulsion from the school, police said. Investigators said the video clip was about three minutes in length and showed a young female having sex with what appeared to be an older man. I mean come on......boys that age are curious and will get into that kind of stuff. Should my dad have charges pressed against him for having a paper bag with pornos hidden in the back of his closet that I found while digging around for xmas gifts when i was 9 or 10? Hell no.
