No, I was considering it while there but I wanted to see how the limo affected the interior first. I may just do a clear tint to block some of the suns poison from harming the leather dash.

Well since she's a "weekend" toy, she's yet to see anything past sunset.

I usually drive her mid mornings, early afternoon's.

Thanks dude. Doing the basic mods first before I dive into headers/exhaust in March when I come back from my vacay.

Next up, some custom floormats and some K&N's.

Nothing specific just curious what colors/trim you ended up with in there. Also is it manual or paddles?

Black/Black/Paddles. I wanted the saddle with a manual. But those owners know their value and scarcity, so there's a premium on those that I wasn't willing to pay.

I was nervous I wouldn't like the F1 as I have heard horror stories, but its very responsive and at high revs shifts faster then I ever could. I got caught in traffic one time due to a miscalculation on my part and that time alone justified not getting the manual.

Yeah I hear the paddles are pretty awesome. Also that'd have been my preference too, 6 speed and saddle I actually looked at an aston last week because it was sooooo fvcking cheap, black with paddles

I don't disagree owning an old ferrari probably has it's financial pitfalls if you're not loaded but that car certainly doesn't look beat up

actually here is that aston, no 6 speed no care. 6 speeds are impossible to find, especially with a saddle interior. There was one in washington state for sale on ebay a couple of weeks ago and it sold immediately.

also if one of those crazy paddle transmissions breaks I can't fix that shyt, at least if a 6 speed goes I can repair that no problem

Iím an open honest man about the cars needs as pointing out itís flaws makes me committed to fixing its ďissuesĒ

In order of priority

1) drivers side floormat has a tear, already ordered new ones
2) exhaust rattle from the passenger side due to the standard valve issue that most 430s have around 3k rpm when the secondary valves open up. As I already said exhaust will be handled in March along with headers to replace the stock manifolds that are known to be an issue.
3) drivers side leather has some cracks that are pretty standard on most leather cars. My Fusion shows the same wear. I havenít decided if I want to redo them or go fancy seats. To me itís currently a non issue.
4) I may raise the car up slightly eventually. Not committed to this issue yet.
5) minor rock chips on front bumper, small scratch on passenger side side skirt. This will be the very last thing I do to the car once the modding is all finished.

If you consider all that beat up, well then my car is beat up.

Hopefully the installer let you know beforehand that the chosen VLT level is illegal without a medical exemption.

Lol, what makes you think this would have been a manual? If it had been beanbat would have had no argument about this being a "fake rich" Ferrari. They're worth around twice the price of a regular. Hell even old 550s that were in the 70-80k mark a few years ago have jumped in value.

The ones that were a major increase was the 550 Barchetta. A few years ago they were in the 150-200k mark, now they're 450-600k.

Yeah, but it takes a special sort of someone to buy a 10+ yr old ferrari with that many miles. You think he's been pining after the f430 for years and years, or he just wanted a car that got him attention? People who buy 67 fastbacks do so because they love cars. People that buy 10 year old ferraris do so because they're basically overgrown children who love attention.

Smell jealousy all you want. As I mentioned in that other thread, I can buy more than one of those pieces of junk with just the money in one of my checking accounts...I am simply secure enough and have sense enough not to. I'm sure you could afford one, berad. Why don't you have one in your stable? Oh yeah, you're not a vapid, immature twat with insecurity issues.

I cannot argue with your retort. You win this round Calizar!

I still like the car tho for whatever that's worth, but would not buy one.

I do want another toy car but agreed, something like that is not even on my radar. Plus that would look ridiculous parked out in front of the shoe house

If I wanted attention, I would drive it more then once a week. Or I might of drove it more then the 200 miles I’ve driven in the month I’ve owned it. My KB Terminator with 19k miles on it in 15 years must of been trash too.

Yet another failed assumption on your own part.

Most stick shift European sports cars have skyrocketed in value over the last 5 years.

I don't know the history of this car, nor do I really care, but the fact that it's got a Scuderia bumper(good chance it's a Ebay knock off from China) that isn't painted correctly tells a lot about the previous owner(s). This mixed with the 20k miles (they likely went on the cheap with the body kit, what else did they do on the cheap?) is a sure sign to walk away from this car. Reason? This car has zero collector value, even more so with the modifications. As a result there is no incentive to treat it well, it's simply to thrash around and sell to the next guy that wants to look rich....kinda like how you always see 10 year old 7 series and S-Classes in the hood or at the "Credito Facil" dealerships...or the non-luxury apartment complex GT-R, M3, Maserati.

You remember the story of the 2012 beat up C63 in Times Square that ran over the cop? That's a the type of people that these cars are marketed to.

Edit: However, it's his money, and if he likes it and enjoys it, more power to him.

Do high mileage 03's even exist? I cruise ebay on the reg and they all have less mileage than mine. Mine as 30 something on it, I haven't driven it more than 300 miles in 5 years
