97 cougar, 4r70w, 4.6 SOHC, it seems to stall when the car is cold. after ten minutes or so of driving the issue goes away. but when you first start up from a stop and try to accelerate the car doesnt really move, almost as if there was a higher stall torque converter. im assuming this problem is the torque converter on its way out? i believe its the original converter with ~190k.
