What it has:
Gt40 tubular intake, e303, SVO headers and catback... C&L 73mm maf and an an aftermarket fpr that doesn't have a vacuum port.. Car is running 10.6 apr at 3500 rpm, way too rich.. That said I want to add an sc to the car but need to address the rich condition first..looking to get into it next weekend. - Any thoughts from someone who may have been thr

bs that I can't edit a message I intended to finish.... But it is MW.. we are 5 years behind the modern world... meant to ask if anyone's been in the 'car runs rich' category and how did you fix it?

fpr needs to have a vacuum reference as thats the whole point to keep fp consistent when the intake manifold is under vacuum or at wot ( no vacuum).
i have seen where the screw adjustment is also the vacuum port. that said is it that fat at wot? tuned or just the c&l? id lose the c&l for a pro-m and get the fpr vacuum referenced to start.

And it's rich all the time, but was richest 3500-4k RPM at WOT (10.6:1 at worst) FPR is set to 40, and that's what it should get up to with a regular FPR as manifold pressure drops... I think I'll throw the factory MAF housing back on and see if it runs more normally, if it does I'll ditch the C&L.. Do you have any experience with the Moates quarterhorse? I've done similar binary tuning when I had the Buick so kind of interested in it...

The Moates is supposed to be awesome. But yea all binary editing. It's definitely gotten better/easier over the years but as far as piggyback setups go it's supposed to be the best. I have the PiMP megasquirt setup and it's awesome. Full standalone though...

FYI temporary countermeasures : clean MAF and clock to 3:00 position, runs smoother and no longer burns your eyes at idle
