And I'm 34 and do. I'd like to think I'm easily 1/3 done with my working days. Hoping to be done by 55, I've cared about my 401k for a good 10 years already.

Then you are stupid.

Sure, you care about contribution amounts and the underlying fund(s) but why the fvck would you give a shiit about the ebbs and flows 20+ years before you can even take distributions

Probably when you are anywhere near their use

Obviously you fund them properly, but why would you care what it's doing 20+ years before disbursement?

You may want to keep an eye on it before then to get maximum performance out of your funds.

He posted a pic of the DOW at 36k, if it does reach that point I will be selling all my non-retirement accounts/holdings because the ROI would be pretty high. Mutual funds, equity holdings, etc. would be sold in a heart beat if the dow reached 36k. Not to mention stock options and profit sharing with the company I work for currently.

And there's no God because the libtards have been praying for the market to crash to just say 'I told you so.' If they can't comprehend by this point that they were outright lied to there is no hope for them.

Dude at work on Monday walked by and commented that it was Trump's first day in office and markets were down. I bet he was waiting since 11/8 for a down trend in the market just to comment. Well, you can imagine how rough he has had it yesterday and today.

Look at how much stock the GS executives have been dumping in the last month or so.

I think they are taking profits before the inevitable crash/reset that's coming this year.

GS is the reason the DJIA has been running!

It is a dollar weighted index. How much is GS? $235? Look at the run it has made since November - then look at a chart of the DJIA.

The market's up around 12% in the last 3 months, and it's up by 7% just since the last time you posted that.
What are you doing with your investments. Do you play the market> did you miss this entire thing?

I'd like to know what the point of him posting that is.
Is he saying everyone invested shouldn't have done it and missed all of these gains? Is he telling us we should all get out now?

I'm curious how he's investing, if he's betting against the market or what.

That means someone else sold. Derivatives are a zero sum game. Either the seller knows something or the buyer does.

Who bot??? The private investor or a market maker?? Can't really tell anything by this transaction without more info

if someone wants to buy something stupid, I'm sure that there are banks that would fall over themselves to be the first one to sell it to them.

Exactly

I was just saying that I saw the transaction go thru during the craziness yesterday. Just an observation.
