Magnapack vs. Magnaflow catback

found a shop in town that has a great deal on these. exact same price on both.

i've heard the magnapacks sound better and are louder (fine with me) but that they wear out over time. the guy told me if i ever get an x-pipe with it it will be annoyingly loud.

the magnaflow catback i've heard is not all that loud but it lasts longer and still has a nice tone.

going in 10 minutes to get one or the other. real quick, which shoulg i get?!?!

I love my Magna packs..

they have a nice deep popping sound to themmm

Oh and I bought my packs used about 2 years ago and still sound good..

Oh and I also have a bassani x pipe and I can take the noise but on the freeway they do get kinda annoying since i'm rollin on 4.10's

get the packs. ive never heard of them "wearing out". they are not obnoxiously loud, ive got them on my car with the magnaflow o/r x pipe and they sound sweet, and if you work the throttle when your cruising there is a "sweet" area where you can barely hear it at all... then when you throttle up it will scream in a second... i think its a really nice setup...

I started out with a catless X-pipe and Magnapacks. It sounded awesome, but the volume was way too loud. It was ticket waiting to happen, as I was in Cali at the time.

ah, ok. i get ya. the cops down where i live are notorious azzholes about speding but were cool as hell when i was cruisin through town. pulled in behind me when i pulled into the car wash and actually asked me what i had done. said it sounded good and we talked cars for a second then they took off after askin me to rev a few times. they love to nail people going through town on their way to columbus though
