I dont know, when I had the magnaflows on and dumped, I didnt like it.. but the flowmasters dumped have a different sound that I love.. I guess it just depends on what type, or if you like x or h.

I've never heard a magnaflow catback in person, only in videos and soundclips. When I first installed my longtubes and dr.gas X I had an edelbrock catback installed already (straight thru) and after the pain going through all of that was I was pretty disappointed....after a few months I had a set of 2 chambers flowmasters welded in and it made it all better.

In hindsight I really don't think any of it was worth it but that's neither here nor there

i hope you like your loss in power with the choke masters... When i had my 97 GTm i had flowsmaster, turbos, borla, magnaflows and magnapacks.. I stuck with the packs

and b4 anyone comments on the choke masters. I am referring the the american thunder and 80 series...

I have ran the 1 chambers before, you lose less hp b/c they are the race series...

so with the super 40's im losing power.. , I know they are chambered, but you would think it causes some back pressure with a strait through exhuast.. thats a good thing right?

well sure, i think it sounds pretty good in the higher RPMs, but with my flowmasters they just sounded nice and loud all the time, even at idle.
