10 holes FTW!!!!
Those pics are with the paint approx 90% complete, just after wetsanding. You can tell in some closer pics(crappy digital) the paint doesn't have much depth yet. Still needs to be buffed out.

Now the rats nest is starting to get cleaned up

Engine bay wired

I'd like to throw out a personal thanks to George, our master tech for his expertise and attention to detail when it comes to wiring. Not many people have the patience to tackle this phase of restoration.

About 25-28 hours, not including the paint and sheet metal work filling the holes.

Pics of the interior pieces being dyed from gray to black

Added a new center section to each door panel

The vinly spray dye by SVM works great. It takes a bit of prep work, but the outcome is much better.

More interior work

Tried the spray dye on the headliner, but too much absorption. New covering instead.

Also found some 91-93 visors with lighted mirrors.

Refurbished and re colored quarter panels going in

Oroginal speedo cluster lense was toast, so new one installed. Bastids sent a 90-93 by mistake. correct one coming

I'm lost at the purpose for the race seats and the G force belt.

That engine probably won't even make 300HP.

Correct. However the customer felt the car was 'pretty fast' in stock trim.
For a bolt on, mild build, it rips pretty well now.

Customer wanted race seats and harnesses, so his wish is our command.

I swear ever damn LX bumper has a wave in it

We used some flat steel with HD 3M adhesive on the bottom backside of the lowe bumper cover, after it was installed. Flattened things out a bit.

I've asked the body shop if they can do anything with it. Hopefully they can. Otherwise I'll have to spend the $360 I guess to replace it. Might as well do it now while it's being painted.
