What is reliability/problem areas like on an 05+ Stang
Considering picking up a 2007 GT Premium
What are they like reliability wise? Any major problem areas or things to look for? Ive heard about wheel hop being a problem and squeaks and rattles. Im more concerned with coil issues, fuel pump issues, windows falling off the track and shattering, motAr issues etc The car Im looking at is stock (not 99atlantic stock, real stock) leather, 35k miles Oh also what is wind noise like on the freeway. I drove one at a dealership this past weekend but couldnt get it passed 25mph on the freeway due to traffic

No major motor issues. Just the basic mustang stuff. After a while you can get a rattle in the dash which is easily fixed with 3m padded tape. Etc. There are some things like a clunking in the front suspension, a small fuel tank filler neck that can trigger the gas gun prematurely, etc but there are TSB's out for all of that so no big deal. Wind noise isn't bad (with the windows up). Atleast on par for a 30 000 car. There are some things that are a pain in the ass like the sparkplugs which have a tendency to break if you don't take your sweet time getting them out. If the price is right, I say do it.

Yeah i say go for it.
I have 101k on my 05. I dog the hell out of it. Over 150 passes on drag radials in the 12.0 to 12.7 range and the stock motor and trans run just as good as the day i bought it. |

with the front suspension clunking, what is that and is there anything to be worried about. I have that on my 05 along with the gas gun going off all the time when trying to fill up the tank. What are somethings to fix that?? Thanks
