I want your original hood you had on the car. Mach 1 hoods are teh sex

*puts flame suit on*

So are you just tearing out a bunch of unnecessary stuff to reduce weight or what?

Yup! Reduce weight and clean it up! I want a simple beast of a machine! Plus it's good to go through everything, being 22 years old and all!

Looks good... The only thing I would have suggested (and it's not too late) is to get a kit for swing outs, unless the car is track only (which I'm assuming not since the heater in back in). I will be cutting mine out this summer and adding a swing out kit to mine very soon... climbing over the bars suck!

These are a bit pricey, but the best looking ones I've found..

Nope...no swing out's for me. I have no problem climbing over the bars. Had this same cage in the Mach 1 for 4 years and never wished I got swingouts.

Well, cool... I don't daily mine and I get sick of climbing over them...and much work on the interior of the car enters a new dimension. I was having to trace out a wire today for my wideband and it was sucking a bit.. I plan to re-do mine just to make it more of a "street car". The car is about to go through a bit to simplify a few things...

Damn!! That's amazing what you did with the dash wire harness!! Make's me want to just pull mine out completely! I've been trying to do that while having it still on the car.
