Need a 4.6 in bay area......

Hey guys;
Anyone between San fran and sacramento got a used, running 4.6 motor? I just picked up a 1998 crown victoria with a rod knock. Just want to drop a decent used motor in and drive it for a while.

I bought a 4.6 off ebay and ran it at 389 hp for 3 years. Then I used the top end on my forged SB for 2 more years. After that a guy bought the stock SB off me about 4 years ago. It also has VT heads and cams, bullit intake, and a 150 shot and still runs great as far as I know. He put in a 95 T-bird

Thank you, thank you...

I have never been screwed by ebay, bought the procharger off it and ran it for 2yrs, and many other little things, a bud of mine bought a 99 cobra, and never had a problem with it... so, I guess its just what you know and your choices I guess...
