edelbrock intake with stock sn 95 hood?

Has anyone used this? I'm hoping to finally buy an intake soon and am between the rpm II or the trick flow track heat. Its for a 331. I've heard that the edelbrock might not fit under the stock sn hood. If that's the case I'll go with the TF as I'm not looking to buy a new hood. Any input greatly appreciated.

I would do the Edelbrock II or a Systemax II

I had to remove the lining on the inside of the hood to use my Tubular GT40.

i have the performer rpm 2 but had my cevini's stalker hood all along before the intake. Just looking or picturing it rather, the stock hood might just be barely not tall enough, but for sure sure i would call edelbrock or maybe even post at the coral and see if anyone knows for sure.

why those two? more power over the trick flow? i thought the RPM II would make a bit more, but wasnt sure if it would enough to matter. i wouldnt want to have to spend money on a new hood for only a few hp increase over the TF

i would say try to evenly match your setup as to what you think u will do down the road. I know for mine, right now the E cam is starving my setup but i did the E cam with motor swap in 02 and didnt get the heads and intake till maybe 2-3 yrs later. Original engine swap was a 5.0 engine out of a 95 and only thing i changed was cam, headers, and x pipe at first.

so keep in mind what u think u will want to do later on. Initially, I wanted my car to be a GT but sound better than stock. Even now I dont want a race car, but want it to be street quick.

im not sure what ill eventually do with it. for now i just wanted to get the engine itself finished up. ive been wanting to add an intake and get it tuned for years, but being in school has really limited my ability to buy parts. after i get the engine straightened out ill have to focus on suspension and other random things that the car needs.

I know not exactly the same car, but the trick flow track heat intake hit the stock hood on my 92 LX. I glued a piece of cork gasket to the TPS to stop the hood/intake from rattling. It dented the hood up a little. I told people that was my motor trying to get out
