Peyton is easily my favorite QB in the league and Denver is my most hated team in the NFL in a 3 way tie with the SD and KC.

All in all this is x 25 (+/-3) ÷ 1

Peter King said his sources in San Fran told him Peyton may have been turned off by the Super Bowl-or-bust feel that would have come with him signing there.

haha, now it seems less pathetic that the radio on Friday was gushing about a "private jet flying to NC omgomgomgomgomg!!!!"

But it's still kinda sad.

John Elway Has Brass Balls
Whether or not you agree with an NFL team handing a potential $60 million in guarantees to a guy who has neck leprosy, I think that we can come to a consensus on one thing: John Elway has really big balls. HUGE balls. Balls the size of light bulbs. His balls are so big, you could harvest stem cells from them and plant them inside Peyton Manning's cervical vertebrae to facilitate the healing process.

Only Elway could have gotten away with this. If it had been some other figurehead running the Broncos, they wouldn't have had enough good will stored up to openly court Manning and prepare to trade away a player who, while lacking in many basic QB skills, is the NFL's most popular player and a huge audience draw. Elway wasn't afraid to piss off all the Tebowtards out there (get ready for lots of half-Bronco/half-Jaguar Tebow jerseys next fall). He won two Super Bowls and is the greatest player in Broncos history, which gave him the clout needed to take out his big balls and wipe them across Tim Tebow's chin.

From the way fvcktards down here act, you'd have think he won four Superbowls in three years in Denver. Why don't we want him? Same reason we didn't draft him.

Although, if he wants to come here and spell MJD on third down, I'm fine with that.

I stopped reading at "huge audience draw" as if Denver actually needs something to draw folks to the games. We've only been sold out for every single game for what, 40 years now?

Does that benefit the broncos some way? I would think all the money/perks would be going to the home team.

Experts.

No, the rev. from away games is split, not 50/50, but split. You want the away team sold out just as much as a home game.

How am I trying to pretend I'm an expert when I'm asking a question?

pretty sure teams split the gate revenue. Plus they're talking about how people went to games last year (road games) because of Tebow, and how most teams trading a guy with pull like that is stupid.
