Maybe if his college coach had been more responsible for his behavior he wouldn't act like this.

I really feel bad for him; I know he's not as bad of a guy as people portray him, it's been known he has mental health disabilities that he gets counseling and takes medications for. While the hit obviously looks intentional, I strongly believe he didn't "mean" to do it. Not excuses though, he needs to be punished for it.

Looking at his bio on Wiki, I'm surprised this guy even has a career.

Molesting him? They just kinda ran into each other, that happens after just about any layup or dunk. That hit was retarded and I as a lakers fan think he should be booted from the league. I liked artest and though he had started to get his act together but there is no place for that crap in basketball. That hit could potentially kill someone.

Lame? Yes. Really dumb dirty play.

Booted from the league? C'mon...there have been plenty of similar elbows that got a 1 game suspension. Flagrant 2's on players going for dunks are probably just as dangerous. Bynum's hit on Barea was more malicious and he got 5.

It was stupid of him, and he deserves the 4-5 game suspension or whatever it is, but it does make it a tiny bit better that it was to Harden. That guy does sh1t like that all the time and had it coming

I'd say most people agree that you must account Ron Artest's history when you decide to penalize him for that...

Thats a big, hard elbow from a big strong guy. I've never sen harden give anyone a concussion. I'm a huge lakers fan but that sh1t was stupid. You can't do that in the UFC much less the NBA.

Let's pay monkeys and thugs millions to play a sport and then be shocked when they act like this. Then defend their actions just so your team can have a good season.

If he can't play well with others, kick him out of the league. It's not like there aren't a million other coons who can fill his spot.

lol what?

If you swing your elbow, and feel it contact something hard, you'd be like "oh **** what the hell did I just smack"

He's a guy who has a long history of boneheaded moves. This was another one.

Sucks for the Lakers as he was actually starting to click. Especially since he has that ability to come up big in the playoffs.

Here's how a normal person would respond if they realized they accidentally made contact with someone while celebrating
http://youtu.be/Cn3GhgeipDA

Artest on the other hand keeps running down the court, then instantly goes in to a fighting stance when Ibaka comes up to him.
