There is not a "huge" difference as far as design, it's still the same small block 5.4 but just poked/stroked with a lysolm blower. I believe the heads are still the stock GT500 but were cleaned up a little and deburred.

Hey, you're right about the 3-series. It went to a four-banger but has same HP number.

Audi dropped the V8 from some models (like S5 convertible) and the TT no longer has an optional V6.

The Chevy Cruze replaced the Cobalt and has 140 hp vs. 155 for the older car.

Volvo dropped or is dropping all of its V6es.

I don't want to look all of the exact HP figures up. I'm wrong about the 3-series, but there are segments where HP is in decline. HP is up in sports and luxury cars, which is good.
