Anyone here own a bloodhound?

Yeah guys, we dont need to drag up the same old pitbull argument and/or Snatch bashing sh1t. It's not helping, as I already said I wasnt getting a pit.

I have a cousin who had her face mauled by the pet lab, so any dog can just snap. My rule of thumb: don't get a dog that can eat you. Get a schnauzer or something.

My sister has one. She's a great dog, but is already pushing 120lbs and is barely a year old. This was a pic just after they got her, don't have any real good other ones.

If you don't want your neighbors to hate you, do not get a hound. My Mom's neighbors had a beagle and oh my god I've never been so close to executing an animal. Their "howl" or whatever you want to call it sounds like they're getting stabbed by a dull fork. So please, do not get a hound.

i'd never get a lab.. if you want a good dog thats laid back and a great protector check out black mouth currs.. I have one and they'd be a great family dog.

I have 6 dogs right now btw and have had probably more breeds then most on this site.. of course I don't know what i'm talking about.

My best friedn has a male and female, Gus and Ellie. Some of the coolest and friendly dogs. Very intelligent and sweet. Great family dog.

You posted a picture of a pretty cool dog awhile back. I want to say it was with some farm animals, sheep, goats? I don't remember much about it other than thinking it was a neat looking dog.

Blue pitbulls are not rare and they are simply a way for losers with no morals (I do not consider any legit breeder a legit breeder if they breed for a specific color) to make money off a craze. I am not saying those dogs are not great dogs, I'm simply saying on a whole they have problems and breeders who breed solely for a "cool color" are rotten scoundrels.

I don't think I've ever met someone with a ridgeback that didn't have 2.

Played with a ridgeback in a pet shop once. Ran around, then peed on the floor, then decided to roll in it's pee. Employee was not happy we allowed her to roll in her own pee.

yea they are great pyrenees guard dogs

they just had pups a couple months ago. i kept one of them. here she is with the others.






here's the dad last year when he was a baby.. he's just now a year old now
