Aren't you the one who jokingly said they bought at $300 and then regretted not actually buying it, later in this thread?

Turning $300 into $8,000 > any of your returns %wise, ever.

Sure, but that can be said of any invest, no? I wish I got in AMZN back in 2009 when it was at $80, but I didn't.

Fees have fallen quite a bit...

Analyst predicts Bitcoin will hit $91k by 2020

"Investors in bitcoin are about to see a turn around in their fortunes. That’s the prediction of analysts at one research firm who claim the value of the cryptocurrency will reach $91,000 by March 2020.

Bitcoin has seen its value more than half since hitting a high of almost $20,000 in December. On Sunday, one bitcoin cost investors $7,366. Now, the researchers at New York-based Fundstrat Global Advisors believe they have mapped out the short and long-term trends of the digital currency, including mining costs, trading trends and other technical analysis.

Published by Forbes, the statistics-based graphic compiled by the company’s Head of Research, Tom Lee, shows the currency’s history of dramatic rises following dramatic falls in value. Lee also developed the Bitcoin Misery Index (BMI), a contrarian indicator, meaning the lower it is on the scale, the greater the likelihood of bitcoin will moving up in price. The cryptocurrency is currently at the second lowest point of the past eight years."

Actually there is something I wanna tell you:

Jack Dorsey expects bitcoin to become the world's 'single currency' in about 10 years

"The world ultimately will have a single currency, the internet will have a single currency. I personally believe that it will be bitcoin," Dorsey said in a report published Wednesday. It would happen "probably over ten years, but it could go faster."

Just so we are clear here.. this is Theo's thought process.

Jack Dorsey the founder of twitter, a social media platform having nothing to do with currency is qualified to assess the likelihood of one currency taking over the world wide market. But Dan Guido is not qualified to discuss the security flaws of AMD processors.

You should probably edit that some more and add that he is founder/CEO of Square ~ a mobile payments co. He probably has a better understanding than you or bean and even Al.

Mr Guido, is more than qualified in the security space. However, waiting for confirmation was warranted given the flaw release was coordinated attack to manipulate $AMD's price just to fill the flaw releasing exaggerator's pockets - not to protect the public. They are unethical, much like Intel's CEO who dumped stock before their major flaws were released to the public (lines up well with Intel's history of bribes and kickbacks).

how dare I edit the post to fix the quote bar.. I know, blasphemy

and square accepts payments, and is not itself a currency. So even that is a reach.
