I went to the NMRA Ford Festival 2000 at Gateway Int'l Raceway in Madison, Illinois right across the Mississippi River from St. Louis on Sat. Aug. 5. Despite all the rain, I got some great pics. I was very dissapointed not to find a 2000 Cobra R in sight. The pic looking straight down the 1/4 mile is to show the weather conditions that held the racing for 2 hours. The two pics of inside one of the cars is Billy Glidden's 2000 Mystic Mustang, he ran a 7.69 I beleive it was. --- Chris
