Summerfield's Mustang Cookies

We decided to pick up a box of these Mustang and Thunderbird cookies. We saw them at the Ford dealer for around $1 (a buck is not bad) and wanted to see what a Mustang tasted like. These cookies are made by Summerfield's under license from Ford.

Here's what the box looks like.

Pop up the handle and you get the neat 3 vertical bar Mustang trademark tail lights. A cool feature is you also get specs for several Mustangs and Thunderbirds from different years on the back cover (HP, base prices, production numbers, etc).

The cookies kinda taste like Danish Butter Cookies, they are made with real butter and are low in sodium. 9 cookies = 110 calories. The fact that a company would even consider making cookies of the Stang and T-bird goes to show you how cool these cars really are. For the die hard Mustang fan :-) Many years are represented including the Ford and Thunderbird logos. There was the Mach III concept in there also. No 99 body style cookies, which was a bummer, but they are still cool.

Overall for the price, the cookies are worth it, the box is excellent and they taste good also. When a Camaro owner says they ate a stang at the track, they probably mean one of these cookies.
