"Horseplay" Here is Kevin Butler's ride, more than a year in the making, everything about the Mustang has been customized, every part of the engine bay has been tricked out. Just some of his mods are:

Engine: 2001 Windsor Block, Cobra crank, Eagle rods, JE pistons, Clevite Bearings, Ferrea Stainless Steel Valves, Houston performance Custom blower cams, 2001 PI Heads Stage III Port and Polish, Bullitt Intake Manifold, Vortech Supercharger, XMP Custom Air to Air Intercooler, 7 Quart Canton Oil Pan and Windage Tray, NGK Irdium Spark Plugs, Taylor Custom Spark plug wires, custom Painted Valve covers, MSD ignition, FRP #42 injectors, XMP Custom fuel system, 90mm Lightning MAF, XMP custom chip, walbro fuel pumps, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, Fluidyne Aluminum radiator, -12 Steel braided air lines, -24 Steel braided Radiator hose, Steel Braided Fuel lines, All custom AN fittings.

Here is Kevin's Mustang which we featured in select stangs.. we are working on a huge update to show you his new stereo system, fuel door and other mods.

We found Chris Hoff's Mustang (and Chris :-) at the show, the mod list is too long to mention, but you can check out http://www.chicanesport.com where the work was done, ask for joe.

Joey's 82 Mustang. He got some nice mods including some new rims this year (a few hours before the show). Joey bought this Mustang back in 82 (when he was a young punk, haha), he is the original owner.

Joey's mods:
Body: Color is "hot red", original hood scoop and air dam, 93 cobra wing, side skirts and rear spats are from Pacific Auto Accessories. SVO Mustang sail panels. Lower body color is Sable Metallic. All painting completed at Joey's dad's shop in Long Beach Truck Painting.

Interior: Custom upholstered 97 Mustang GT seats, stock rear seat upholstered to match, momo steering wheel, alpine stereo, Boston Accustics seperates, Kenwood powered sub woofer, MGW shift knob, Steeda tri-ax shifter, painted trim panels. Motorsport 140MPH speedo. Autometer 2 gauge pod (vacuum.boost and fuel pressure).

Engine: 351 Windsor Lightning short-block, Lightning cam, Lightning oil pump, motorsport oil pan and pickup. Lightning damper and distributor. Motorsport GT-40 Turbo Swirl aluminum heads, Cobra 1.7 ratio rockers, 5.8 Liter Cobra lower intake (HPC coated), Downs upper, 36LBS injectors, Accufab 70mm throttle body, 90mm Race pro-M mass air meter. K&N cone air filter. Vortech S-Trim supercharger. ARP fasteners throughout. Electronics are all production Ford, Cobra processor. 255 LPH in-tank fuel pump, T-rex external. Custom chip by Swanson Performance. Smog certified and clean running too !

Drivetrain: Front- Polyurathane bushings in control arms, Tokico Illumina struts, Maximum Motorsports camber plates, late model sway bar, aluminum rack bushings, Flaming River steering shaft, 13" drilled and slotted bear brakes, braided stainless lines, H&R springs. Custom fabricated strut tower brace. Rear - Maximum Motorsport adjustable lower control arms, Maximum Motorsports torque arm and panhard bar, Tokico Illumina shocks, late-model sway bar, 12" drilled and slotted bear brakes with braided stainless steel lines and Eibach torque arm aprings. G-load brace and CCM subframe connectors. CCW modular Wheels, 18x8.5 front, 18x9.5 rear. Yokohama AVS ES100 tires, 235/35/18 front. 275/55/18 rear.

Exhaust: Motorsport Jet Hot Coated Headers, Bassani 2.5" 2 cat H-pipe, Bassani 2.5" mufflers with turndowns.

the vast majority of the work on this car was done at Joey's dad's shop "Long Beach Truck Painting" with the help of his friend Danny Lopez. Many thanks to Joey's dad also !

For a few moments we were worried Ralph (one of the MW board admins) could not make it to the show because of an engine mishap a few weeks before, but it turned out to be nothining major and there he was :-)

Engine: Bullitt Intake (P&P), Vortech V2 SQ-Trim w/ 3.123" pulley (13-14psi), Custom Spearco intercooler system (designed by XMP), AFM Power pipe, 80mm Lightning MAF

Fuel system: FRRP #42 injectors, 01 Cobra fuelpump, Kenne Bell Boost-a-pump

Exhaust: Bassani x-pipe w/cats, Magnaflow (magnapack) SS catback w/3.5"tips

Drivetrain: McLeod dual friction carbon / kevlar clutch, McLeod aluminum flywheel, FRRP aluminum driveshaft, FRRP 4.10 gears, Steeda tri-ax shifter

Suspension: Eibach Road Race Springs, Tokico Illuminas 5-ways, Maximum Motorsports caster plates, Maximum Motorsports full length subframe connectors, FRRP/GW aluminum offset rack bushings

Brakes: Cbora PBR caliper upgrade (fronts) Brembo rotors (fronts), Stainless steel brake lines (fronts)

Exterior: 1995 Original 17x9 Cobra Wheels w/ 275/40/17 Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's), Red painted brake calipers.

Interior: Autometer Lunar gauge cluster (Mustang monthly writeup Nov 02), Autometer lunar gauges, A-pillar-boost & fuel pressure, Bezel-water temp & oil pressure, MGW shift knob

Electronics: Abbott ERA speedo compensator, Autologic custom burned chip, Eclipse in-dash CD / Tuner, Eclipse in-dash 6 disc changer.
