87 LX Road Racer
This stang belongs to Kenny at Brothers
Performance. A few people are working on it including Shawn and
Tim at Brothers. It's being set up for road racing.
Here the Cobra IRS is essentially a drop in. Shawn welded it up in place.
The fuel cell is just above.
A few slight modifications needed to be done, but it's interesting to
see a 99 Cobra independent rear suspension on a fox platrorm.
He also cleaned up the insides. Look at the smooth engine bay sides.
Full chassis roll cage. Shaved door handles. The doors open, but with
the full roll cage in there we figure a "Dukes of hazzard"
type entry through the window would work as well :-)
