Chris' 89 Saleen SSC #148
Here are a few pictures of my 1989 Saleen SSC #148. The car has 16,800 original miles and puts 657 hp to the rear wheels. Modifications include SVO A4 block, TFS High-Port heads, Vortech R-Trim (Cog belt driven), DFI management system, GT-40 lower and Downs upper intake, Weldon Fuel pump, 72 lb. injectors, 1 3/4 in. long tubes, 3.55 gears, and much much more.
Outside of some gauges, the interior, body, and suspension are completely original SSC parts, including the cockpit adjustable suspension. At the track, the car runs the 1/4 mile in 10 seconds at over 130 mph. My Saleen is completely street-legal and is driven on nice weekends without ever a hint of problems due to its high HP output.
